To thoroughly implement the spirit of the provincial work conference on workplace safety, on May 21, XXX, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, led heads of emergency management, firefighting, housing and urbanrural development departments to conduct a special inspection on workplace safety in industrial parks, construction sites, and key enterprises. The inspection team focused on identifying risks including hazardous chemical storage, blocked fire exits, and maintenance deficiencies of special equipment, issuing 12 onsite rectification orders with strict deadlines. XXX emphasized the principle that "potential hazards equate to actual accidents," urging enterprises to strengthen primary responsibility, enhance closedloop management, and resolutely prevent major accidents.
This rectification campaign will continue for one month, covering all key industries citywide. The Municipal Work Safety Commission will establish specialized inspection teams to conduct unannounced, direct inspections ("four no-priornotice methods": no advance notice, fixed routes, or preselected .
